About me.
CONSULTANT & PRACTICE MANAGER
Brandi Kulikov-Ramirez, MA, PHD, LMFT
I’m a masters-level California-licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a doctoral degree in Infant and Early Childhood Development—and a genuine love for helping fellow clinicians bring their practices to life. Over the years, I’ve blended my roles as a clinical supervisor, consultant, and private practice owner into a creative, supportive, and refreshingly down-to-earth way of working with other providers.
I’m the person who actually enjoys the behind-the-scenes details: setting up practices, program development and evaluation, practice operations, creating marketing materials without a massive budget, brainstorming ideas, and turning “I have no idea where to start” into a clear, doable plan. With an eye for aesthetics, office design, and digital storytelling, I love helping practices feel warm, intentional, and inviting—so clients feel a connection before they ever reach out.
Most importantly, I’m passionate about helping clinicians feel less alone, find their niche, and step into a professional identity that feels authentic and confident. Supporting other providers isn’t just something I do—it’s what lights me up. Let’s build something meaningful together or welcome me into your practice to help manage your day-to-day admin tasks so you can continue being a fabulous therapist to your clients!
You might be wondering why on Earth I would prefer to do this kind of work over being a full-time clinician…here’s the scoop…
I still have my solo private practice, LightHaven Therapy for Women & Children, where I see clients both in-person and virtually, on a very limited bases, specializing in very young children and adult perinatal women. I also still actively work as a Clinical Supervisor for an amazing non-profit in SoCal.
Unfortunately, in 2025 I was diagnosed with Elhers Danlos Syndrome and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome which has caused Dysautonomia. Sadly, this autonomic dysfunction has led to Orthostatic Hypertension, POTS, and severe Hypoglycemia. Because my medical instability makes it difficult to work directly with clients (clients tend to not want their therapist to pass out or become hypoglycemic during session lol), I have limited my caseload, and decided to pursue my other passion of supporting other providers. In some way, I actually feel like it was meant to be as this is the area I excel in and brings me joy!!!
